Sage does best in full sun and well drained soil. Tricolor Sage has mottled green and purple leaves with white margins and will produce lovely lilac flowers that attract pollinators. The leaves have a milder flavor than other culinary Sages but make a lovely garnish. Tricolor sage is generally more compact and less winter hardy than Garden Sage.
