Sage does best in full sun and well drained soil. Purple Sage has beautiful purple and green leaves and will produce lovely lilac flowers that attract pollinators. The leaves have a milder flavor than other culinary Sages but make a lovely garnish. Purple sage is generally more compact and less winter hardy than Garden Sage.
