Russian Sage is a fragrant and floriferous perennial with loads of small lavender like flowers on silvery green leaves. It is drought and heat tolerant, and blooms in the first year. The plant needs little attention during the growing season, but does benefit from a hard pruning in the late winter or early spring. Cut the stems off 1-2” above ground level, and the plant will flourish again the next season.
