Multi talented plant that can be used medicinally, culinarily, and also supports many beneficial insects. A biennial, so needs two years to reach its full grand height of up to 8 feet tall and is quite aromatic. The flowers, leaves, stems and roots are all edible, and can be used to flavor liqueurs, candies, fish, stews and more, and the stems can be cooked and eaten like asparagus. The flowers are extremely pollinator friendly and also support other beneficial insects like bees, parasitic wasps, syrphid flies, ladybugs, and more. Angelica is used medicinally as a general tonic and digestive aid, and to help treat bronchitis and other chest ailments.
